I have a Renault Gordini year 1969 produced in Argentina by IKA (Industrias Kaiser Argentina), it is a special version which is equipped with RPM counter in the board, aluminum / wood steering wheel and was sold without hubcaps.

I have this car since three years ago and I restored it completely in my father's garage, we chromed all the engine.

I have this car just to enjoy driving it some Fridays and Saturdays, in three years I only drove it 2000 km.

Its engine is 845 cc with special exhaust manifold, special camshaft and bigger water pump delivering 40 hp.

The instruments board is different from the Dauphines built in other countries, it has two big circles housing the speedometer (160 km/h) and tachometer (8000 rpm which red zone starts at 5500 rpm), having the gas meter in the middle.  All the instruments are Jaeger and the whole board is upholstered in black leather.

Seats and doors are upholstered in light brown leather

Note from webmaster:    This version was made in Argentina by Industrias Kaiser Argentina (IKA) only during 1969 and 1970, it is very similar to the Gordini 1091 from 1967 known in the rest of the world, but the instruments board is completely different as you can see in the picture above.

This car was equipped with Jaeger instruments: mechanical tachometer at 8,000 rpm (red area starts at 5,500 rpm), speedometer graded at 160 Km/h, charge and fuel meters.   It seems like the board was originally upholstered in leather, the steering wheel was made in stainless steel with wood and the car had a 12 volts electric system with generator.
